Corey Honore, Owner and Founder ISSA Certified

Corey Honore is the Founder and Owner of Elite Fitness in Roselle, IL and has been involved in the sports and fitness industry for over 20 years. Corey’s dynamic background is without a doubt Elite! He is a certified fitness specialist and a fitness instructor for over 12 years. Corey has competed in and obtained professional ranking in bodybuilding, has competed in triathlons and marathons and also played collegiate football. His athletic background and education includes football, basketball, track & field, baseball core development, functional training, and speed and agility training, fat loss incentive programs, youth and elderly training, and nutritional guidance. Corey has done numerous public speaking events, guest appearances and frequently speaks to local community groups about the importance of healthy eating and exercise. He has also been featured in books, fitness magazines and catalogs for his expertise and also does fitness modeling for Body Solid sports and exercise equipment. His testimonial as a bodybuilder and fitness expert, featured in the revised edition of the book, “Think and Grow Rich,” by Napoleon Hill speaks volumes for his dedication and commitment to his field. Corey believes that he has without a doubt, “been endowed with the power to think of ways to optimize every situation in my life, whether positive or negative, and to grow rich spiritually, physically, financially, and emotionally.” Corey hopes all clients at Elite Fitness gains this type of enrichment in their lives.

How to Become Elite

Get Started at Elite Fitness Training

To get started with Elite Fitness Training, you'll begin by getting certified in the Foundations and/or Basics 21 programs. Once you receive your certificate, you can participate in any of our elite training programs as you like. Each class is aproximately 1 hour long and promises a full body workout using the skills and techniques learned in Foundations and Basics 21. Foundations and Basics 21

Classes are small training groups designed to instruct proper form and technique so as to prevent injury and promote efficiency during training. After completing 3 days of Foundations /Basics 21 you must pass a test which judges your form and technique (test out). Once you have tested out of Foundations/Basics 21, you’ll be eligible to take the Extreme Fitness and/or Dynamic Circuit classes! Contact Us and Get Certified Today!Each program offers a 2 test maximum. If you cannot pass the tests after 2 tries, personal or individual training is recommended.Basics 21 -- Certification required for entry into Extreme Training classes Must complete Basics 1, 2, 3 and test outFoundations -- Certification required for entry into Circuit Training classes Must complete Foundations 1, 2, 3 and test out

Dynamic Circuit Training

Conditions the body by combining resistance training and high-intensity aerobics. Dynamic Circuit Training is easy to follow and targets strength building, as well as muscular endurance. An exercise "circuit" is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, one begins the first exercise again for another circuit. The time between exercises in Dynamic is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise.Dynamic Circuit Training participants must take and test out of Foundations.Learn More and Get Certified in Foundations

Extreme Fitness Training

Bruce Lee said, “Use no way, as a way and set no limitations as your limitations.” There certainly aren’t any limitations in this class! Participants in this class describe it as intense, electrifying motivating, challenging, rewarding and crazy fun! If you’re looking to optimize your cardio, muscular endurance, strength, body and mind, then look no further!Extreme Fitness Training participants must take and test out of Basics 21.Learn More and Get Certified in Basics 21

Tae Kwon Do Cardio Kickboxing

Tae Kwon Do Cardio Kickboxing is an exceptionally rare class. It’s format takes the contact, form, technique and precision used in competition kickboxing and combines it with a unique style of cardio kickboxing! The outcome is a devastatingly awesome total body workout! Come burn calories, learn self-defense moves, increase strength, muscle tone and flexibility!Kickboxing is every Monday 9 AM, Wednesday 6 PM, Thursday 9 AM, and Saturday 10 AM. Please reserve your spot in class at least 24 hours in advance. Start your Tae Kwon Do Cardio Kickboxing membership. Memberships are available in 2 days/week or 3 days/week programs. Junior Extreme Fitness Training

This is our fight against childhood obesity and is designed for youth ages 10-15. Junior extreme will give your child or teen a sense of awareness for their personal health and fitness. It’s never too early to encourage your child or teen in making healthydecisions that will affect the rest of his or her life.
